My son was missing, he is older but special needs and it was less than 2 minutes from when I called they found him. Both female officers were kind, polite, helpful, friendly, and understanding. No doubt they may have some less than helpful among them, consuder the good they do and the ones doing it. Thanks VPD

Yes they dont really help and arrest always the wrong people . Why always the women is right? They should get paid less .police good for nothing .

When it comes to discrimination all one has to do is check out what is happening in our own town. I'm positive it must be a difficult job to be a police officer & maybe it's not even the police maybe we need to look further up in our city government. When it comes to domestic violence if u r a female don't bother calling the police. I don't know how there can be such a difference between the officers during the day vs. The night shift?

Questions & Answers

Why is it that car 292 is able to talk on his phone while driving?.isnt that illegal? So i guess cops are above the law.

Actually Police officers and for that matter all emergency personal are exempt from the cell phone law. This is because their phones are considered secondary emergency communication devices. That of course does NOT mean they should be just chatting on them while driving around and not using them for official business so if you are seeing this happening on a regular basis I would suggest you give the watch commander a call.

Why doesn't anyone answer the phone at the Police station. There is a car that I am pretty has been stolen and has been sitting out side of my place of employment for weeks. Homeless people are trying to get into it when I come in.

All the emergencys are for the vagrents that's it your waisting tax payers dollars why ????

Jeffery Hess | Aug 28, 2019
David Smith | Aug 28, 2019

*emergencies *vagrants *"that it's" *wasting *"tax payers' " Because vagrants are tax payers too. They pay consumption (sales, alcohol, cigs) taxes which go toward local police. Even if they didn't, they are still citizens (usually) and are therefore entitled to emergency response. Some of them may have paid a lot of income tax in the past but had a trauma or other unfortunate incident occur which resulted in their being homeless. Remember the words of JC: "Even as you do to the least of my brethren, you do unto me".
