Responded to this location on Monday 16 August 2021. Pulled up in drive through at 7:55pm, and was greeted with this pre-recorded message, “Thank you for choosing Checkers, we are currently closed.” Continued through driveway to exit and observed two employees inside laughing and joking around. Responded back to this location on 17 August 2021, at 12:43pm. Was in drive through behind another customer, and sat there waiting for 5 minutes, and no one answered the drive through intercom. The SUV in front of me then drove out of the drive through. I sat at intercom for an additional 5 minutes waiting to be greeted. Unfortunately, I suffered the same results (no one answering the intercom). I drove through the driveway, looked in the take out window, and observed two black male employees inside laughing and joking around. I could understand them not answering the drive through intercom right away if they were busy. But there were no customers inside the lobby area of the business either. So what could’ve been the delay? I don’t understand (and am disappointed), about why the employees weren’t answering (or giving) customers assistance, AT LUNCH TIME. Why is this location even open if they close their doors and drive through to customers, at the peak hours of business? Serving the customers is what keeps a business afloat!

They said they don't make slushies anymore. They got my order wrong. And the girl had on gloves on while having cash and food. The guy who looked dressed as a manager was extremely rude and tossed the wrong food at me. Won't go back. The workers were clearly high and it smelled like Marijuana coming out of the place. They need to hire new people. This was on 4.7 21 at 4pm

Food should be free after having to wait 20 minutes for one meal. Wont make this mistake again. Oh and the sprite tastes like seltzer water its so flat.You're absolutely right, Matt.
