Tried going here multiple times, only to find it closed during its normal hours of operation. No notice, no sign, no social media post to explain why, just closed. EDIT: I wanted to clarify my previous review. Every time I've tried this place, its been during listed business hours, typically Tuesdays at Noon because I work 3rd shift, so I have to plan these things ahead to get ample sleep. Each time, I've waited 15-30 minutes for the establishment to open, which did not happen. The tone-deaf response from the owner telling me the hours of the store is insulting when the store isn't open during its normal business hours. I stand by my 1 star review.

Love the Candy Shoppe on Main. Know the owner and staff personally. They are wonderful.people. If there is something you can't find just ask, they may be able to get it for you. Great selection of old timey candy and confections, mouth watering chocolates and fudge, even old timey soda's in a bottle. Drop on by and grab some cotton candy or a cow tail, popcorn or hard candies, even Cheerwine fudge!! You won't regret it!

Awesome, hometown feeling candy shop. I felt like a kid again in this store, it's just amazing. Very friendly service and great prices.

Great variety of unique candy, fun assortment for the kiddos, and chocolate chocolate chocolate. See ice was great and very friendly. This is a gem in China Grove, NC.
