During installation, they broke the rearview mirror, left it in the backseat, tossed me a warranty pamphlet, and told me someone would get back to me. Of course they still made me pay because "otherwise we can't get the warranty started." Nobody called, so I called the 888 number. So far, I've heard two of the standard excuses (system is down, waiting on someone else) that people use when they have no legitimate explanation for not reaching out as promised. Now, we are driving blind without a mirror in a car that was made unsafe by Safelite, and there is no indication about when they might fix it.

I’m not going to go into all the detail (read other negative reviews -ditto). All I want to do is warn other owners of Toyota FJ Cruisers. DO NOT let this shop replace your windshield. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT.

WORST! WORST! My mistake I did not check the reviews! The guy from oceanside safelite did a great job on my other car so I felt confident repair should be ok. It was a eight of an inch chip , called and requested oceanside and they sent me a guy from escondido. When he arrived I felt something is off with the guy, his name is Matthew, big belly , came just odd! Looking unprofessional! But he was already there and I had to go back to work so I let him do it.. 10 minutes later he was calling me ans saying it failed! WtH! I should have listened to my instinct. He told me it will not go away completely but didnt tell me it will crack big time. What was fishy was , after he told me it failed, a girl from their office is offering to replace the windshield and that it is in stock! Wth!! Totally SCAMMERS!! How coincidental that 10 min later their office is calling, asking if I want to schedule a complete replacement. I should have just left it that way cuz it was not visible anyways, but husband was insistent to get it repaired so it will not crack . That guy ruoned my car!!! DO NOT USE THIS. COMPANY! Total scammers!!
