I love the brisket from this place and have gotten it at 3/5 locations and it has been good every time. I have even referred people to go here. Yesterday I ordered a pound of brisket to go so I could enjoy it for dinner, as I live out of town but didn’t want to pass up the opportunity. Well once I got home and gave the brisket a closer look, I noticed that 2-3 slices were pure fat. I thought maybe it was some small layers of fat with meat behind them, but no, it was 100% fat through and through. So essentially 30% of the brisket I bought, at $28/pound ($30 after tax), was worthless. I’m unfortunately unhappy with this most recent experience. I didn’t expect anything extra, just the $30 worth of product I paid for. I will return to one of the restaurants whenever I’m close by, but if I have another experience like this one, I may start shying away from this place.

The food was delicious! The salmon was cooked perfectly and paired well with the avocado pico. The desserts were phenomenal. If you have a sweet tooth, give the blondie a go. You will not be disappointed. Overall the food was fantastic and the service was superb. I will be back!

Definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was great! The atmosphere was nice and the service was excellent. Visited this place for Saturday lunch with friends. Normally don't order ribs but ordered the beef rib meal with two sides that was part of the Saturdays lunch special. What a meal! Best beef rib order I've eaten.

First time at Midwood and having southern BBQ so I don't have any reference to go on. Service was amazing. Server was engaging and very nice. Had a jalapeno drink and it was spicy! The combo platter was really good for a first timer like myself. Loved the ribs and hush puppies those were my fav. The brisket was on the dry side. Had collard greens and Brunswick stew for the first time and enjoyed them both. Too full to have dessert.

Wood smoke is all I have ever smelled. I love the smell!
By the website it says it will not be open but they have a Thanksgiving menu you have to order by Nov 22 and orders must be picked up by Nov 25. Pulled pork is on the menu.
Outdoor seating yes. Not sure about pet friendly.
