My dog was very sick yesterday and my regular vet was unable to see him as they had no appointments available. I called another vet in the area and they were also booked as it was late in the day on Friday. She recommended VCA in Ontario on Vineyard just south of the 60. I explained that I had been to two other VCA facilities and vowed I would never take another dog there. She said she understood and personally vouched for this particular one. As my dog was really sick I had to seek care for him somewhere. This particular VCA facility is awesome. The entire staff was so very nice and caring. The doctor was outstanding and explained everything in detail and gave us medication. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who needs immediate care for their pet. Excellent facility.

On March 2, 2022 my beloved PTSD Service Dog received end of life care at VCA Ontario. The receptionist was casual bordering on dismissive as usual when I called and said that we had arrived. After a compassionate process with a wonderful veterinarian, we left to mourn. I called on Wednesday to receive a refund of the holding fee as she had been picked up by the Crematorium. The receptionist told me that she herself just checks and that her remains were βstill in the back room.β That implies that you looked, physically verified the tag and in good conscience tell me that she had not been picked up. I contacted the crematorium and they had the tag. So your receptionist, with forethought and malice, LIED about the remains of my dog. Apparently you just put me on hold and after a lengthy hold itβs easier to lie to me than to have actually done your job. Your vets are awesome. Your support personnel are horrendous and horrible people.

My sweet 8 year old doggo was unfortunately diagnosed with lymphoma. She rapidly declined within a week in front of our eyes. I was calling every cancer facility in the LA area to see if anyone can see her. All facilities were FULLY BOOKED, unable to schedule for another 2-4 weeks. I called VCA California Veterinary Specialists Ontario and their amazing staff SWIFTLY scheduled rajah the very next day! (Special thank you to Miranda) They understood the urgency of a lymphoma diagnosis. Since then, we have been extremely HAPPY with the caring, thoughtful, and empathetic caring by the Oncology Team. They have since been providing chemotherapy for Rajah and have been doing amazing! They talked me through the various treatment options, prices, and expectations of care. I am so pleased with every encounter from the stellar coordinator to caring vet techs to the thorough doctor Dr. heller! Also Many thanks to: Logan, Carly, Kristal (those are all the names i remember, im sorry if I forgot the others) All this to say, this staff and the providers are incredible! I highly recommend this place for your pets care :)

Last Friday night, we unfortunately arrived home late to find our 11 year old dauchaund had been attacked by a coyote and was injured badly. After rushing her to VCA, I walked into the office at midnight and stated that I had a trauma case. A technician came out and immediately took my little girl to the back. They gave her pain medication and started to work on her. She was in bad shape. The staff worked very hard to keep her stable but when it came to the point where she wouldn't make it much longer, they brought my daughter and I to the back so we could be with her before she passed. I want to thank you all who were there at midnight and helped my baby girl. You were compassionate, thoughtful and I will always remember what you did for us. My daughter was upset but being able to say goodbye and kiss her really helped. She spoiled her since she was a puppy. I have had animals for 55 years and never met such a group of people who were so helpful in this situation. You all are Angels π

Inversely, you may want to contact Trupanion directly about their billing/collection practices. It is likely VCA will bill Trupanion, but send you the bill for whatever they do not cover - which might be an unpleasant surprise if you were expecting your pet insurance company to foot most if not all of the bill.
Our Murrieta and Carlsbad hospitals do have cardiologists with services available by appointment. Please don't hesitate to call if you have further questions or visit our website - https://californiaveterinaryspecialists.com/specialties/cardiology/
VCA will b able to help and answer questions, they might want to examin the dog
Yes..unless they won't stop shaking there head..then I would take her to E.R. if not just try to keep her calm and go to your regular vet ASAP the next morningππ
After they examine your cat they will present you with an estimate and you can decide if you want to go from there.
Cats too.
This is a specialist so they recommend that you go to a primary vet to do vaccinations.
How much a dental cleaning and 2 extractions for a Terrier, Yorkshire ?
It can mean lots of things, but mostly it means you should get to the vet RIGHT AWAY to find out what is causing it.
