Decently priced. Person behind the counter at pick up didn't know how to work the payment system. When a phone call was made to someone who could help them, the person who was called was so rude. We gave our dog a bath before taking him and 2 nights later he WREAKED.

I have to say I was a worried mom as it was Janie’s first time being away from us. La Nae was awesome. She knew it was her first time. Janie was very stand offish but, she worked with her till she was relaxed. She called me and kept me up on how she was doing. Over I would say it went better than I thought. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby.

Don't show up last minute, you'll need to do and orientation and have your vaccinations (like most places), call for details because you can schedule the orientation. They have live webcams so you can check in. Everyone was really nice, they make sure to take in friendly dogs so no need to worry. They open early and close late, much better hours than their competitors. You could board an overnight stay, or they have a "date" special so you can go out on a date and come back late to pick up your dog. This was our first time here, and we will be returning the next time we leave town.

We picked up our little boy from Playful Paws scared, wet, and covered in a foul smell. It broke our hearts. This was our first time at a doggy daycare facility. The cage free environment, the proximity to our home, and the webcam availability is what sold us. We stepped into Playful Paws today with excitement; we were hoping that doggy daycare would become a part of our routine as well as a place we could board Baldwin when we went out of town. Our appointment was scheduled for 1pm. The individual behind the desk checked us in. While we filled out the paperwork and gave the poop sample for testing, we made sure they knew that this was our first visit and that we were going to be back to pick Baldwin up at 3pm; we wanted to begin with a short stay to see how he did. We were told that the timeframe was fine. We said goodbye and left. We picked up our little boy after an hour because the small dog cam did not have any dogs to view. The space was empty and looked like it was being cleaned. When we arrived we asked if we could check out the facilities since it was our first visit and the employee said that it was not possible since it excited the dogs. She also told us the company has a 5 hour minimum stay for the first visit. They also recommended Baldwin stay longer, but because we are unable to view the webcam we wanted to check on him and see how he was doing. During the exchange, when we said we were unable to see any dogs on the webcam, the employee replied that the dogs are placed in a kennel while their play area is being cleaned, which is between 2 to 4 pm ( Well we were there at 1 and the cleaning had already started). And no one told us that he would be in a kennel. When we asked if our dog had been in a kennel the entire time he was at the facility, another individual chimed in and said "Oh, I can assure you Baldwin was not in a kennel this whole time." We don't know how this employee would have known this since he didn't know when we had dropped off Baldwin, nor did he know what he looked like. This left us feeling unsettled and we asked them to bring our dog out. We couldn't believe what happened next. As the employee came out she told us "bad news, he got wet." The lower half of Baldwin's body was soaked in a foul smelling liquid and filthy. When we asked how this could have happened she said that maybe he had walked around in the water after the cleaning. We pressed her again and asked how he would have been able to get into the water, especially when he had been restricted to the kennel the entire time. She clarified and more honestly stated that actually the water used during the cleaning had gotten into his kennel. Add insult to injury, the employee said he was scared in the back of the kennel when she went to retrieve him. Of course he was, who knows what happened during his stay in the kennel! We scooped him up and let their employee know that we will not be back. In order to get rid of the smell, we needed to wash Baldwin twice when we brought him home. We also logged on to the webcam again and saw that the small dog area did not open up to the dogs until after 5pm. Did the little dogs have to be in kennels that whole time? I don't know but I am so glad we got our boy out of their when we did. This is not the place for your furry loves.
