We chose the Asheboro JellyStone as a stop on our 1k+ mile family camping trip. I chose this camp ground because of the amenities for the kids and proximity to the NC Zoo. Our kids loved the waterslide and the pool. And we had a great time riding the golf cart on the trails around the campground. Our campsite was very clean and easy to get in and out of. We loved it so much we added a day onto our stay! Our kids loved seeing the Yogi Bear characters and The fun activities at Cindy Bear pavilion. All of the staff we spoke with were super friendly and helpful. The unsung hero of this campground is the Laser Tag play area. This activity is top notch! We had an absolute blast and am so happy that the camp includes this activity with the cost of the stay. Aside from the positive experience our family had there, I would drive all the way across the state just for the laser tag experience. No joke! It was awesome :-) we will definitely keep this place on our list of awesome camping spots :) would definitely recommend

This is my third time returning to this campground and I have to say I am blown away each time with all the improvements! The Laser Tag is undeniably the coolest thing for people of all ages and the people running it are so patient and kind. Even though we were there during very hot weather, the pool never felt over crowded. Renting the golf cart made it so easy to explore the undeveloped parts of the grounds. Fun to think of what they are still going to do! Thank you for adding a coffee bar in the store! The cabin we stayed in was amazing. To have 3 pillows to chose from to find one I like, was incredible for a campground. And the AC was a real life saver in the incredible heat. Having wifi available at a campground is nice (albeit challenging at times), even though we found that we really don't need it since we are, after all, camping. We were outside all the time! We had everything we needed for an amazing week of camping. THANK YOU! We will be back.

My girlfriend and I stayed in one of the small cabins which was very nice. The cabin was clean and comfortable, had a nice bathroom and kitchen area with TV and real hard wood floors. To be honest I wanted to tow one of the cabins home and live in it. The camp ground was all new and well kept. Had a bounce bag to jump on and numerous trails to drive golf carts and ride bikes. They also had a play ground for kids and activity area with a pool, table tennis, and an outdoor laser tag arena with military props to hide in. Staff was very pleasant and one of them dressed up as Yogi Bear to wave at people on the back of a golf cart. My only suggestion would be to ease up on the gravel a bit, a lot of the roads were packed with large gravel rocks making bike riding a little unpleasant but this is a very minor complaint. We loved this campground and will return for future vacations.

As much as I want to love this place, I'm really disappointed with the current state of the campground. I completely understand that the owners are trying to balance adding new sites with amenities, but please consider the following statements. This is a family-oriented campground geared towards children and the one year round amenity you have for them (other than a jumping pillow and sporadic laser tag), the playground, is just a mess. There is playground equipment that is waiting to be installed that has been on the ground for over a year (we've been here a few times). There are things that are broken and dirty, and it's just obvious that no one's paying the area any attention. You still have the same plastic chairs from the local hardware store instead of getting proper benches and tables. It's as if things have been just randomly thrown about with no thought to them. Around 4:30 today, my wife and I walked through the campground and discovered a sewage overflow in the lower campground. I called to report it but no one answered the phone, so I sent a text message to the number as instructed, and still no one responded. I hope somebody got the message because it smells terrible. Don't get me wrong this wasn't an individual campsite; this was the lift station for the entire lower section campground. There are trails all over the place but there is no signage anywhere telling you where you're going. However, the high point of a trip was the staff who are very polite and very courteous. We are from this area and I really hope you guys pull this off, because if you do it will be amazing.

What is the cost per day at site?
Campers can stay for a month at a time. There is a very limited number of sites for this time frame and there is a waiting list.
Go to the link and get the rate PDF file for the rates https://asheborojellystone.com/rates/
Get a cabin and camp oitside and have the elders sleep inside. 500 for two days I'm guessing.
I believe it is $55 for one night, or $45 for two or more nights.
$40/year and expires Dec. 31 each year. If purchased in December it expires the following year.
