After a 30 year stint as a federal agent I swithced from a Glock to a wheel gun but soon thereafter decided upon purchasing a Kimber 45. I fell in love with the 45 frame after vacationing in VietNam in the mid 60's. After purchase I took it apart for cleaning and ATTEMPTED to reassemble. I spent hours trying to do this simple task; with a humble heart I went to VR Defense on TO Blvd. and asked help. Well these guys could not have been nicer...they showed me what I was doing wrong, and patiently showed me how to put the firearm together. For my buck this place rocks and worth considering for your next purchase, repair or resupply. BTW I did not purchase the gun there. It was closer. John Everett

I've purchased stuff here over the last few years, and the experience is just OK. For me, living in Newbury Park, this store is one of the closest to me, so the convenience is there. However, since Covid-19 and the 2020 election cycle, inventory has been a tough situation -- this is the case everywhere, so not a knock on this store.

Pleasant, knowledgeable team working at VC Defense. Went there to purchase a couple items, and the guys in there spent an hour with me wilfully imparting their knowledge and experienced opinions on what the best products are. Walked out confident I made the right decisions. Prices are very reasonable (I've seen higher locally), especially when you consider it's important to support your local shop so we'll have them in the area. It's my new go-to shop.
