The rooms are OK. The bed was pretty good. The bathrooms are too small to work well with no fans in them. You cannot have two people in them at the same time. The really bad part of the experience, however, is the breakfast. The management does not seem to understand that the guests have paid for it. My wife came down for breakfast at 8:50 a.m., over an hour before it was supposed to close. They were out of everything -- bacon, eggs and cinnamon rolls. There were no hard-boiled eggs for a substitute. When my wife asked if they were bringing out more food, especially the cinnamon rolls, which she was looking forward to, the employee told her that the previous guests had been gluttons so there would be no more forthcoming. When it is something you pay for, you expect to get it. We had just spent the night at an HI Express in Mt. Vernon, Ill., that had a great breakfast. Also, this hotel offers very few tables or places you can eat your breakfast. The eating area is way too small. And their pool outside the eating area is absolutely disgusting. If management would pay attention to the details, it could be so much better.

This hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. I felt comfortable and did not have any reservations about anything. Overall experience was excellent

The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. I had one of the suite rooms. Very spacious and clean! But next time I will ask for a room on the front side of the hotel. The back side is about 500 yds from a major interstate hwy. The traffic was constant. The large trucks were the loudest. The window panes need to be thicker or more insulation is needed in the wall. It was hard to fall asleep. But I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I'm in the area.

Average at best,3 stars for the semi truck parking. Checked in around midnight and the lady seemed to be annoyed with us. Stayed on the 3rd floor, which smelled like smoke. The room didn’t smell like smoke thank God! Hotel needs a real good deep cleaning. If you want the hot breakfast go before 9am. Most items were out at 845. Only way I would stay here again is if I had no other options. Semi truck parking parking for about 4 trucks (gravel lot , easy turn around)
