The Hummingbird Trail is a nice trail to hike or mountain bike in Rocky Peak Park, but it is fairly steep and can be challenging. There is no shade so best to hike in the cooler months and in the morning or late afternoon. The views are nice as you hike up the hillsides and get better the higher you go. Worth hiking if visiting Rocky Peak Park.

Interesting trail to say the least. Not a lot of parking but enough cause it’s not crowded. There’s a few trails but they all sorta lead to the swing cave. When you get to the main big rock, look for black arrows on the ground to point to the cables to lead down towards the swing cave. Only about 1.2 miles from the parking. You can do the loop and do 4 miles

Great hike with a beautiful view. If you plan to hike this trail, please wear proper hiking shoes to avoid injuries. Also, I know everyone loves thier pets, but these trails are not for pets and offer little to no shade. Therefore, please leave your pets at home, where they can be comfortable and safe. In addition, take your trash out with you. A few people are leaving water bottles and mask on the trails (No Bueno). Furthermore, if you are hiking to the swim cave, please be extremely safe and come prepared with plenty of water and proper hiking attire. I do not recommend this hike for anyone with existing injuries, pets or children. Enjoy nature and remain safe. See you on the trails.
