Record city is probably one of THE best retro old fashioned great old record stores still around in the San Diego area the manager Graham is very nice and knowledgeable and their prices are actually quite reasonable and they have an excellent selection most HIGHLY recommended!

Great selection of vinyl records and cd's! No price gouging here! For the price of things in San Diego Record City is very inexpensive. Military discounts available, and the friendly helpful staff is more than willing to spend time to not only help you find something but very knowledgeable of music and info about it.

I came here to look for rap and hip hop CDs. I was so happy and satisfied with the overall experience, I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. Amazing collection of CDs, I walked out of the store with around 10 CD albums based on rap and hip hop. Great record store!

Crate diggers paradise. Huge stock across genres, loads of bargain bins. Super friendly owner. Managed to get a rare boxset for a fraction of the online price. Essential stop in San Diego.

All I can say about record city is that there vinyl is in near mint condition, if not new, and they do not sell any garbage, if anything you'll get it nearly new to the pressing plant condition.

Yes, but you won't get much. Everyone is moving to streaming. Blu-ray has more value because it is geared to collectors
It depends on the particular album in question but usually anywhere from 4 to 8 bucks for used cds for new expanded edition remastered classic rock cds it's usually around 12 to 16 bucks hope that helps this is a great record shop in san diego highly recommend them I've been going here for years
No, they don't nore does any retailer in San Diego county. Save yourself time and either toss them or give them to Goodwill or a similar charity.
