I have been a long standing member of Equinox gyms in downtown Miami going back to when to the 1st one at the 4 seasons was originally Sports Club LA, later purchased by Equinox. The main problem I see at the Brickell Heights location where I in fact live is absolutely no enforcement of any courtesies by the staff on the floor. Members are constantly speaking on their phones when working out holding up equipment and not paying attention to the workout. Never once have I seen staff state take your chat outside...like the minuscule signs on the wall do. Beyond that there's absolutely no enforcement of individuals wiping down equipment nor racking weights. Further, staff when walking around the gym will at times look you in the face not smile not say hello or not even a polite nod. At the front desk staff are often consumed by talking to other staff members or on their cell phones. Finally, the equipment in the facility is gradually becoming in disrepair. Little if any new equipment has been added there is way too much cardio equipment on the main workout floor in the back which is rarely in use. Knobs are missing from spinning bikes, some floor tiles are becoming worn. In summary Equinox staff largely let's members do what they want without any regard to the fact that this is a workout facility. I understand socializing takes place but it should not inhibit others from working out. Management train staff to do their jobs and monitor the floor properly, add new equipment and get the existing equipment in shape. I would easily cancel my membership and tell others to if it weren't for the convenience of the gym being in my building.

Only slightly more impressive than a hotel gym. Very small. Insufficient and outdated equipment. Also very hot inside. Can they not afford to keep the AC on? They need to add equipment to the upper levels and have longer hours to help ease the crowding. Lifetime destroys this place. What gym still has 12 month contracts? Equinox does. Because they have to or everyone would quit. I don’t mind paying a premium but I expect something premium in return. Equinox Brickell isn’t even close to delivering that.

I have always wondered why the majority of Equinox locations in Miami-Dade county cannot achieve 4 stars at a minimum. Well, they are not going to get there. I just learned they have gotten rid of Regional Managers and amazing instructors like Christina Leon who with more than 30 years experience - LOVES what she does and has always inspired her team and the members. This is a lack of leadership OR insecurities of those leading this company. How unfortunate. That is why gyms such as Lifetime are being so successful.

Hi! The schedules vary a bit. You can download the Equinox app and see the class schedules.
With tax comes to just a bit over $180. They do have discounts for certain companies or industries. Just ask if any applicable discounts.
Hi Melanie You must be 18 years of age.
Starting at 160
Call the club directly they should be able to help. Sometimes classes fill up and that prevents you from signing up.
