Ever since I enrolled my older son in classes here in 2016, we have been impressed over and over again by every aspect of this school. When my son first expressed an interest in martial arts, I took him to check out every school in San Marcos and we chose White Dragon for the fact that a private lesson was included at every membership level. I truly believe the private lessons make a huge difference and that really sets this school apart. Every single instructor is excellent and Sifu VanDergriff is devoted to making sure that his students are getting the experience they desire out of their training. The kids learn to defend themselves appropriately, to set and attain goals, and to have respect for others and to earn the respect of others. I can't recommend it highly enough.

My daughter has been training here for over four years and I have been been a student for over three years. We continue to benefit from our training at White Dragon San Marcos. This is the absolute best school to get a great workout, learn self defense and work on overall self improvement. The instructors are incredibly positive and dedicated to their students. I've always loved training at White Dragon. It has helped me to learn how to push the limits I've placed on myself both physically and mentally. The workouts are intense. I've met and surpassed the health goals (weight loss, fitness, etc) that I had when I began my training years ago. But mostly, I just enjoy being at the school. It's one of the most positive places I can be. My kids, too, have a fun time training here. It's a great place for them to learn self defense, to build coordination, and to work toward long term goals. My sister is bummed that she doesn't have an equivalent school where she lives on the east coast. My family and I love the community of instructors and students at White Dragon San Marcos and feel very lucky that we live so close to such an amazing school.

I've been a student at White Dragon Martial Arts for some time now and when I found out there was going to be a location in San Marcos I was really excited. I have always enjoyed the training. It's made me strong, fit and given me self-defense ability. The team of instructors at White Dragon is always great. They're motivational, trustworthy and always willing to help out.

Varies depending on how often you attend private lessons. Private lessons are included in all their packages, and are included in the monthly fee. How often you attend those lessons will determine how quickly you are able to progress through belt levels. If this is a leisurely activity and you don't plan to progress more than 1 belt per year, then you will pay less than someone who is more hardcore about it. Unlimited group lessons (ie the class style lessons) are included in each package as well.
~ $200/mo for a weekly private lesson (30 min) and unlimited group classes (60 min). My son goes to four classes a week so it works out to $12.50/class.
