Starr Books is one of my favorite places, First of all it's a used-book store, which means friendly prices, everything is catagorized nicely, the staff is always so nice ànd they always encourage you to bring more books for store credit. I visit both locations regularly even though it's a 25 mile trip for me. They even found an obscure book for me às part of their finder service. I love 💕 this place.

I will say, I am VERY impressed with this book store. They go above and beyond for their customers. I have been looking for an old series of books that I read in the 90s. I have seen some in their online inventory & they will hold them for you & as I have been coming to them for a whole about these books. They recently started sending me emails if they get any of the series in stock & I let them know if I need it or not!!! 2 thumbs up....I would give them more if I had any!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!!

They don't give cash for books. A credit is issued based on the retail value (usually half) if the book is in good shape. Older hardcovers do not usually receive credit.
And this is one of the nicest used book stores we've ever been in!
