1st. time customer at the yellow House. Quaint rustic outside appearance. Lots of parking. The inside looks very 70'ish on a budget. The place really needs updating. I order a prime rib with a salad. On my salad I wanted a sweet and sour balsamic dressing. Didn't get the balsamic dressing. I received a spicy balsamic that I didn't want. I didn't bother the waitress about it because she seemed to be uncaring at the time when I placed my order. She also had these eyebrows that were drawn on her forehead that were so bad it looked a little unnerving. I'm sure Steven King could write a book about her. When I received my Prime rib, it was good. The steak knife that I was given to cut my prime rib didn't cut the meat it tore at it. I ate half of it only because it was taking me so long to try to eat it with this horrible steak knife. I finely said something to the wait staff about the mishap on the dressing, but it seemed no one cared. The web site states fine dining however it is not. At the very best it's a 2-star restaurant. I had high expectation for the Yellow House and left disappointed.

Like stepping back in time for lunch! Friendly waitress was busy but polite. Food( got the stir fry) was oddly seasoned with a brown gravy, but freshly made. Heavy on rather undercooked large broccoli chunks. No rolls, a side of salad, was fine. Apparently reservations are encouraged but we were seated nicely. The hostess meandered around, helping where needed to ensure guest satisfaction. All around I would recommend and return to try another menu option.

We had a pleasant dinner for our group with everything prepared as requested. The food and wine were delicious. The service was pleasant and efficient. I look forward to returning again soon.

My wife and a friend always are looking for the perfect or as close as perfect place to dine. We are pretty sure we found the one. My appetizer was Clams Itaiano. They were spectacular. We had two filet mignons and a Prime Rib entrees. Everything was fabulous. We had four Martinis, and three deserts. Crème brûlée was very good. Our server was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. Very reasonable price.

You walk in but a reservation is a very good idea! I always make reservations at yellow house
Masks going in and wandering around, not once you're to your table. To be honest, they weren't in your face about it. 🙂
They only have 5 rims pending how many members of family I don't know if they have any special package for event
They are always very accommodating, you may want to call and ask...
If you make reservation to sit in the formal dinning room, then the dress code can go formal or nice casual so go dress to impress. If you sit in the back room or the bar, you can dress casual or nice casual.
There is a specific room, that has a door that is closed off to the attic. That room is available for overnight stays. I did experience a few strange knocks but no EVP. The third floor is an apartment type setup, and a young girl from What I was told hung herself years ago. Definitely worth speaking with the owners, to get the story and history yourself. We weren't real pushy and just listened.
You need to call them.
