We by mistake ordered two birthday cakes for our daughter. One from Susie's Cakes and the other from Hansen's Bakery in LA. The Susie's Celebration cake was lightyears ahead of Hansen's in terms of homemade taste, perfectly delicious icing and so moist...just beyond scrumptious. The Hansen cake (while beautifully decorated) was dry and the icing and filling was so artificial in taste. Susie's Cake was by far the winner!

I might post 2 reviews so I can give this place 10 stars. We got my birthday cake here this past weekend and the carrot cake is the best cake in Southern California. The cupcakes are also incredible….best I’ve had from coast to coast (#westcoastbestcoast).

A delicious sugary place for the eyes & palate. I’m a huge fan of their dairy free fruit crumble squares, flourless chocolate cupcakes, flourless peanut butter cookies + red velvet & tropical coconut (pineapple) cake. Crossing fingers for more flourless cupcake flavours and some sugar/low-sugar products in the future. Love that their baking area is transparent so that everyone can observe the hard work they do.

WOW!! This place is amazing!! Tastes perfect, and definitely has the from-scratch taste. You can really taste the vanilla in the frosting, and there is absolutely no nasty fake flavoring. The chocolate is so delicious, and you can taste the cocoa powder. The vanilla is so light and fluffy. I will DEFINITELY be back here. They also have cookies and other sweets, and the staff is very friendly:) love it!

We opened in Brentwood in 2006.
We do health screenings daily for all of our team members including temperature checks, and we sanitize all shared surfaces at least every hour. We are working with much smaller teams in the bakeries, and are keeping our front and back of house teams separate to limit exposure. We have also limited our bakeries to one guest allowed in at a time, and have a table set up at the front so you do not need to come all the way in to the bakery. Our guests service teams working with the guests wear both masks and face shields and are constantly washing their hands.
