I came with my daughter today AUG/13 to the pool because they put flyers in everywhere saying that it was a free day celebrating HALLANDALE Anniversary and is close, now my daughter is crying and she don’t understand why they lie.

Recently vistied the B.F James park and i was pleasently surprised, their pool was inmaculate and the place is clean and very well organized, the putside basketball courts are in very good condition as well as the playground for little kids. Highly recomend this place, their summer swimming classes are filling up fast, and no wonder why, their facilitiy is top notch!

Great place for the entire family to spend hours! Play equipment for the little ones, huge basket ball court, lots of green space for kick ball or frisbee, swimming pool is fantastic (there's a cost for the pool, tho), bathrooms were usually pretty clean, the trees are beautiful, there's a excercize circuit around the entire park as well as a walking sidewalk for doing laps. Love this place and my grand kids do too!

We currently offer semi-private swim lessons. Participants in the Semi-Private Swim Lesson program will learn and build on the skills that enable them to safely enjoy a plethora of aquatic sports and activities for the duration of their lives. A parent or legal guardian must accompany all non-swimmers into the water to be able to provide on-hand directions to the participants. All participants must complete a swim test; youth non-swimmers must always have a parent or legal guardian within arm’s reach. Fee Resident: $30.00/ per session/ Non-Resident: $45.00/ per session/*Water Smart coupon program available Semi-Private Swim Lessons Session Four 1-hour Lessons per session (2 Weeks) Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday Registration must be made in person at BF James Pool or at the Administration Office
No residency is required. However, non-residents are charged a higher rate for use of the Pool.

No, dogs are not allowed in any City of Hallandale Beach Park except for designated off leash areas at Scavo and Golden Isles parks.
For Hallandale residents $1.50 for adults, $1 for children. (Proof needed) $5 per person for non residents. Children under 3 free.
