We live just down the street from this library so we go often. It's a nice clean building with friendly helpful staff. I love that they send reminder texts when you have items coming due. My only negative comments are that they don't get new items very quickly and that they only keep your available holds at the circulation desk for three days instead of a week like most libraries.

Staff are very nice, polite and professional. Great selection of materials, awesome library. It's a lot nicer than the Ralston Library. 5 stars for this library and 1 star for Baright in Ralston

This is hands down the best library ever! The staff is beyond amazing & the selection of books & resources is stellar! The staff's activities & events keep all of our kids busy & engaged with the community. We love our library!

I very much love this library: the set up, the computer stations, the amount of books, the friendly service, everything! The only complaint that I have is that sometimes staff will talk a bit too loudly when speaking with a customer, which can be super distracting for someone like me who is trying to do work with a bit more peace and quiet than I'd get anywhere else. Otherwise, love it whole heartedly, I just wish I lived closer and that more libraries were like this place :) Keep up the great work!!!

You may go in the library, look at books IN the library. If you want to check out items: From the library website: It is necessary to have a valid library card in order to check out materials or to access electronic resources away from the library. Residents of the City of La Vista are taxed for library services and receive a borrower’s card without an additional charge. La Vista Business owner's, Metropolitan Community College students, faculty and staff, and local teachers can also receive a membership at no additional cost. People who live outside the city limits are not taxed for library services, but are welcome to join the library by paying a $60 family non-resident annual fee, $35.00 family non-resident fee for 6 months or $7.00 non-resident fee for 1 month.
