The place was very nice and clean. It was decorated for chooses and they were getting ready to decorate for the new year. One of the residents was playing the piano and was very entertaining and even had the lunch crowd singing and clapping along. It was fun. My grandma really likes it here

Reserved a spot for a few days. The room wasn't ready. They had to add furniture. Had problems with the air conditioner. The new flooring was great! Get a plus + for that!

My husband's grandmother lived at Rolling Hills until she passed away. She raved about the food choices. You could even order certain things if you didn't like those choices. Soup was available all day. The monthly price for food, apartment, entertainment, and cleaning was very affordable. I did have a concern that there is only 1 elevator. In case of emergency that would not be enough. I would also like the building to be smoke free. When you walk down the halls you can smell it. Not to mention it increases the risk of fire.

I use to work at Rolling Hills Ranch. When I started I loved it. The people seemed awesome, until I realized the management weren't as truthful as I thought. They will say anything to convince you to move in. They make promises they cant keep. My grandparents moved out because of them. They were promised things that never happened. As a former server at Rolling Hills I began to create a relationships with the residents. That's when I learned Rolling Hills was not all that great. For the amount of money people spend, the residents don't seem to enjoy it. As a former employee I recommend not to live here. The menus are horrible too. Half the time we run out of food so you only have one option for your meal. Another con is, the chefs don't use seasoning for their food because so many people cant have salt or something. So the food is very bland. When people come in for a tour and lunch when debating whether or not to move in they get to see the menu and hear about all the positive things Rolling Hills has to offer. As an employee who had worked there for a few years, I watched countless people move in and move out in a matter of months. Not only are the residents cheated out of food they want but employees also have it hard there too. The managers are HORRIBLE. I have been yelled at countless times for things that could have been taken care of by management when I was off duty. I quit because the shifts were bad hours, in four years I got one raise and that because of the minimum wage increase, and also because of verbal abuse and disrespect from management. I have created some relationships with residents that will last for years and I am beyond grateful. I still visit them to see how they are doing. And many of them are grateful for moving into a real gracious retirement community, not a phony one like Rolling Hills.

The cost is based on the size of the room. It includes utilities, housekeeping, food, social activities. There is a hefty deposit.

Probably close to $3000, a small 1 bedroom apt for 1 person is $2000. It can depend on where the apt is. You should call them, they are very nice
