Never have I been here before but I'll sure be back for some great looking fishing! Beautiful lake should be great fishing!

Great little gem tucked away. Didn't catch any fish, but still had a blast. Beautiful to look at, plenty of places to hike. Bathrooms appeared to be shut down and/or permanently closed. Keep that in mind if you are planning to stay awhile. There were enough bank spots to fish from, but on a busy day you might struggle to find a place to cast in. Most of the fisherman there were on boats ! Soccer fields and a playground there as well. However I did not use them so I cannot attest to their condition.

Nice little park and lake. There are trails if you walk across the dam. The lake has bass and trout in it. Good for a nice evening hike if you don't have a lot of time. And someone's cat was sleeping on the bank.

Kaercher Creek Park is located at Pond Drive and Old Route 22, Tilden Township, Berks County Pennsylvania. The park is near Hamburg close to major highways PA 61 and Interstate 78. It is a small park with the lake as its main attraction. Bring your boat and fishing equipment and try your luck. Kaercher Creek Park is very quiet and peaceful except for the traffic noise from I-78 off in the distance. A small variety of birds can be seen. I did not see any waterfowl. Ample parking and there is a boat launch. The drive is paved as well as the trials. The park is open to the public and it is not private property. Drive slowly when searching for Pond Drive. You might drive past the entrance and will have to turn around. Date of visit: Wednesday May 15, 2019.

Dogs love it, maybe BYOG. I don't recall any grills being there. But just pick up any trash you bring in.
Trout. I'm taking my grandson up to watch if he can fish I'll ask them
No, there are houses very close by.
Anywhere around the lake as far as my understanding goes but it closes at 10 p.m. though.
