Picking cherries is so easy. At peak, the trees are absolutely dripping fruit. A friend and I stood at just one tree and picked pounds of cherries. Google Maps led us right to the orchard with no problems. The road through the property is tiny and only one lane; definitely be careful driving past the pond. Parking is really tight in places, so think about your exit when you find a spot. I ended up having to back up about 150' in order to find a place to turn around and leave. This is not a criticism of the orchard, just an observation about what to expect.

Not worth the drive and pricey. 3 stars because the farm is beautiful. But was it worth it …. only for one visit but not for another. The drive, once you get close to the farm, is dirt and rocks and a 1 lane that is shared by a two way traffic for a little ways. And the cost is more than the grocery store. So not worth the drive.

Pros: 1. Went in the middle of June. Cherries are very sweet, beats any cherries you buy from the shops. 2. Scenic route and spot. Cons: 1. Location/Accessibility: This could be true with any other orchards but I haven’t been to too many. It was never ending dirt road, you would need car wash after coming back. There’s steep downhill and uphill spots. If you aren’t careful with the steep downhill, you will die in the lake. The uphill is bad road, my car got stuck and wouldn’t move. No mud, just gravel. Had to back off and drive around it. 2. Road signs would have helped, the GPS crossed the destination and had to follow other vehicles. 3. All the best cherries are at the top of the trees. So either you carry your own picker stick or limit your reach up to your height. 4. Price: About $17 for small basket and $40 for large. That’s about $4.5 to $5 per pound and it may feel expensive but as I say cherries taste greatest. You also need to think of lot of pickers not being mindful of the property. Lot of cherries are dropped and some pickers climb up the trees causing permanent damage and loss.

Absolutely loved this place! The drive was awesome and you feel like you are surrounded by mountains in a secluded wilderness. Very nice place to visit! Also, went with my family in the rain and still had an amazing time!

They usually open for picking in the beginning to middle of June. I usually go to their facebook page to keep posted. When the season opens, they usually let everyone know through there.

How much do we have to pay is it free if you pick and eat but don't bring Cherry's with yourself.

For the 2020 season, baskets (which hold 2 pounds of cherries) are $14.99, bags (which hold 6 pounds of cherries) are $39.99. For every 2 members of your party, you need to purchase at least one container before entering the orchard. They ask that you take ALL fruit you pick/touch home and wash it before consuming.

There is no admission fee, you pay for the fruit pick. The price is by the pound, so you are in control of how much you pay.
