A couple of my friends and I wanted to visit some friends at UVA as a fun and relaxing trip. Everything was fine until the second day, the door to our room was broken and locked us out. We had to wait for someone to help us get into our room, which the solution ended up being the woman at the front desk with a crowbar. Just as things couldn’t get worse, an hour or so later when we tried to leave our room, we’re locked in due to the broken door. We were told that the maintenance man was on his way to fix it but the same woman comes back with the crowbar to pop open our door, at this point I just assumed that the crowbar was labeled as maintenance. As girls visiting an unfamiliar area, this caused a bit of concern for us safety wise and would not recommend staying here. If you are paying to stay at a hotel of any sort, a properly working door should be a given. Very disappointed in the quality of our stay at Red Roof Inn, you are better off going with the other neighboring hotels right next to it.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is mostly a bunch of carb choices (not great for a diabetic), but they did have hard-cooked eggs. Would definitely stay here again.

The stay at Red Roof Inn was very delightful. Staff here are very caring and kind. Rooms were very clean, You had a choice with hot or cold breakfast which was very nice. Considering some places send you out the door with just a granola bar. And I want to thank Pinki for helping my family out in a time of need. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Room was clean and room was nicely decorated. Parking was tough and the hotel was very busy. This hotel sits amongst 3 others so lots of traffic. But a good clean stay in a good location
