Very capable people. Usually courteous. But likely too overwhelmed, and long wait times for return calls. Especially concerning when I am calling as instructed by mail, and having a deadline. The mail also gives the state number for recertification, but they have yet to answer, and I have waited as long as 30 minutes in a queue several times, and they have never gotten to my call.

Bad people to work for. Very untrustworthy and they treat veteran employees bad like myself. Not veteran friendly and they speak badly of our elders and their facilities they are at. They speak bad of the Grants Pass office and the employees there.

I call and call and no one answers. I leave messages and no one returns my calls. My uncle was discharged from hospital with no Home health assessment same day as discharge. He is a double leg amputee and needs a transfer board and hospital bed and care givers. He has a case worker with Senior services and no one calls back. Please some one call us back.

I've had to visit this office about four times now, the people there are always curtious, knowledgeable, and helpful. Waiting time is low to almost nonexistant, unlike many government offices. The people here are professional to say the least.

The office on State Street is not a place to get your taxes done. It's not a senior center. It is a DHS office where one might apply for SNAP, long-term care services, OHP, Etc. You might want to check AARP websites for free tax service for seniors.
Generally, The state offices assist with food stamps and medical for those aged (65+) or on disability social security. It never hurts to ask. Call them, they will discuss options they know about based on your situation.
Call your local office or go online to Oregon.gov
I would think so because they deal with seniors with disabilities like me.
