This store and the staff are more than remarkable! I have had the simplest questions. They took their time with me on every little question. I had another much larger company " back up " my older computer. Let's just say that company lost several of my pictures and videos, which are truly irreplaceable considering I am a widow and my husband is no longer with us so truly they were gone. However I bring my new lap top and my old desk top to The Computer Guys, not kidding you they found pictures and videos that I thought were forever gone! No, I'm not very computer literate however obiously neither was the "big company" Thank you so very much to The Computer Guys they truly brought back things myself and my children thought we would never see again! I took my computer in to get cleaned up as it had a bunch of gunk on it from the previous owner (an ex) and wanted that stuff removed. Got it back nice and clean saving my bookmarks and photos as instructed. They're office is immaculately clean and the people are super efficient and nice! I highly recommend The Computer Guy for all of your computer repairs, tweaks, virus protection or upgrades. They also have a nice selection of new and used machines as well!

A couple basic things I'd try first are restarting the device (computer, phone, etc.) and signing out then signing back in to the Google account. Sure! Are you using Windows or Mac? Either way, ensure you're connected to the internet. If it's Windows 10, simply do a search next to your start button for "Updates" which will take you to the System Settings. From there, just follow the instructions on your screen (it might say check for updates, download, install, restart) and, once it completes that process, restart your computer. Once you restart, repeat those steps until the system says your updates are current. If you're using a Mac, to the the Apple menu (upper left corner), select System Preferences and then Updates. Follow the steps listed on the screen. If you're still having issues after that, feel free to drop the system off at our store located at 315 Thain Road in the Lewiston Orchards. We'll need the computer and the power cord. :)
Both! :) I sell installation media (disc, not USB) with the certificate of authenticity/Windows license. I am unable to sell just installation media without the COA due to Microsoft's copyright protection. I'm also able to re-install Windows on a system with an existing COA/license for Windows 7, 8 or 10.

We always test hardware first to make sure there isn't an underlying issue, but the cost to reinstall an operating system is $82.50 (no data backup) or $110 (with data backup).
