We enjoyed a very nice meal at the Summit Restaurant. We had eaten there years ago and wanted to come back as we'd had a good experience. We were not disappointed. The setting is lovely inside an old house perched on a hilltop. We ate outside on the porch as the temperature was perfect. We had crabcakes, rutabaga soup, Caesar salad, house salad, veal Stroganoff, the Doumbek portobello mushrooms stack, key lime pie and crème brûlée. Everything was very tasty. A few suggestions for the chef of improvements that could be made: Caesar dressing lacked anchovy taste. For the "basil feta" salad dressing, for some reason, I was expecting fresh basil, but it was just a bit of dried basil in an Italian style dressing. The polenta served with the mushrooms was somewhat dried out. The raspberry sauce on the key lime pie overpowered and distracted from the key lime taste. And the crème brûlée needs more vanilla flavor. Service was flawless, and we would eat there again next time we are in town.

I had a wonderful evening at Summit Restaurant! We sat outside on the porch where there was a lovely light breeze. Matt, our server, was wonderful...pleasant, timely & helpful. The food was delicious! I especially loved the thin baked carrot slices! They were crispy and lightly sweet. It was all so good! I took my Mom and Dad out for Mother's Day/Father's Day treat & they really enjoyed themselves. Thank you!

Bravo to Chef Abdul and his staff for a wonderful meal. We had a party of seven, all with different orders and everything came out timely and beautifully prepared. Our waiter provided excellent service and was patient with our antics! I had the Italian Angel, pictured. Delicious!!

So I've been hearing about this place and figured I'd take my misses out for our one year anniversary. The place is nice, very old timey. Beautiful outside. Our food was good BUT we ordered the hummus appetizer and the flat bread that came with it had mold on it. I told the waiter and she took it to the chief and he said that it wasn't mold and that's how some of the bread looked. Really? the bread had a whole green spot on it, that didn't look like something that would be on any type of bread. so I played it cool thinking they'd be honest and say ya it was sorry about it. But no just replaced the moldy bread, lied thats it wasn't mold and didn't apologize or tried to make it right. They just carried on like we were wrong and didn't know anything. It ruined our whole meal. If the chief didn't lie about it, it all would have been ok, I know stuff happens just be straight forward about it. Overall the food was good tho just can't stand being lied to and the moldy food.

I think so but it will take a couple of hours so you will have plenty of time to talk. If you plan on going to a movie or some other activity after, it will be a long night
