Great place to relax and get some serious mountain biking or hiking done.

The campground is set up nicely. With a few cabins intermingled in the tent plots. Well points are conveniently placed thru out and the cabins are just enough to have a rustic camping experience and still get a great nights sleep. The one bathroom has a hot shower, but could be a bit cleaner. I look forward to going back soon.

The camp ground is, generally speaking, pretty standard. I has several rough style camping and a few RV sites. Everything is centered around a large field for people to use and includes a small playground. The ground's main attraction is of course it's proximity to several MTB trails, some of which are on site. Making a reservation is an odd process, going mainly through emails and paypal with no receipts or anything very formal. Check in the day of our arrival was no fuss, just sign in and you get a placard for your car. Checkout was basically just leave at some point that day, with no time limits, which was very nice. The grounds have two places to use the bathroom. The building by the central field is pretty central to most sites and has lights on for night time needs. Only cold water is available which when it's 40 outside isn't the best, but I get why it is like that. The bath house has a wonderful supply of hot water, though there are only a handful of showers for the whole campground, and if it's during the 'not summer', there are only 2 open per bathhouse. The roads are pretty rough so if you worry about ANY speed bumps you will scrape here. The sites have pretty good access to water, but are not level, but doable. The sites also have a healthy dose of poison Ivy so do keep an eye out. Pets are allowed which is a nice plus. All and all not a bad place, and from what I understand, it's way better than it was. I had a ton of fun the 4 day and 3 night I was there and I look forward to our next camping trip there to tear down Reddish Knob!

The campground was quiet at night, the showers were blazing hot (perfect after a day of biking), the mtb trails around the camp were short but fun, the host was friendly, there is plenty of deadfall firewood for collecting (or you can purchase from the host for only $5 per bundle), the location is close to a lot of mtb trails/hiking/recreation areas, the sites are clean, and the meadow has a SPECTACULAR view. The bathrooms are clean with high quality TP and electric radiators when’s it’s cold out. The only downside is not all tent sites have a picnic table. We will definitely be staying here again. Bonus- we happened to be here for a gravel bike race and there was a fantastic food truck (Shredders BBQ) with mouth watering banana pudding.

Yes pets are allowed. When I up there about 2 weeks ago there were dogs all over the place.
There is usually room for more than one tent, but it depends on the site. People generally park at their site.
