I have nothing bad to say about the facility it is very nice and well kept up. The issue I had was with I assume the owner my son and I where passing thru and wanted to just drive thru the grounds and take a quick look to possibly make some reservations. We normally dry camp but thought it would be nice to have hook ups. When we arrived we were met at the entrance by an older gentleman asking if we were staying there I explained my request and he hesitantly said ok that he would get me a visitors pass. When the gentleman returned he was a but aggressive and continued to tell me he didn't want any partying going on its quite and he plans on keeping it that way. I explained that it wasn't my intention to "party" but he kept on with the lecture. I feel it was both rude and extremely judgemental not to mention stereotyping us. I will not be staying here with family and due the judgemental behavior I don't recommend you do either. We went next door to down home lodge and rv park and they were amazing and helpful. We will be staying there.

This place is a hidden gem! It is beautiful, clean, and everyone there was so friendly. While we didn't have our fur baby on this trip, many did, and the park is so accommodating to pups! The also have the sweetest pup to help you check in. The location is perfect and you can tell by how pristine they keep this place that they truly are owners who care. We were guided into our spot (we're newbies) and couldn't have been happier with out spot under the canopy. (spot 9) We will most definitely be back! Thanks for a great vacation!!

This was the nicest and cleanest park we've ever stayed at. The people were friendly and the place was spotless. We'll definitely stay there again. It was nice to have a friendly and clean place to hang our hats for a few days.

Fantastic location. Super friendly owners. But what impressed me most was the shower building. After having travelled all over the place for years these were without doubt the cleanest, I mean spotless, facilities I’ve ever used. A strange thing to focus on maybe? But I was just blown away. Did I say super friendly owners? Short drive to restaurants in town. Highly recommended.

To my knowledge, none of the RV parks/campgrounds in Chama have cable.
I didn't personally drop a hook, but I saw another camper pull a bunch of native trout out of the Chama River, from the bank in the camp ground.
Four lanes to Espanola, then two lane paved highway to Chama. There are some hills, probably 4 to 5% grade, but no tight curves. Road in good condition.
