Staff are friendly and professional. Pretty quiet, people here are respectful. Laundry room is clean as well as the machines, and the maintenance guys are always here if you need something fixed or done. Overall pretty cool living here so far.

Very pleased with the service at Summer house, I was met with kind, knowledgeable staff. A female staff- Devan, was so helpful, it made me ecstatic seeing her rainbow pride pin!! It was heartwarming to see, it made me feel heard, and as someone who is LGBT, seeing even a little pin, can make a BIG difference!!. It's a beautiful space to live, although my only complaint is the ABSURD prices, considering the lack of accommodations.

Been living here for 2 years, about to move out soon. No major complaints, but the equipment at the gym is very limited, it’s hard to get in contact with maintenance at times, and laundry machines suck. Another thing is that parking outside of the lot is nearly impossible after 5ish so when people come visit you it’s always tough. Overall had a good experience tho. The renovated apartments are really nice on the inside. The people at the office are really attentive and helpful, the pool is cool, and the location is really great. 7/10, had a good 2 year experience.

Awful customer service ✔️ Online Payment System that doesn’t work ✔️ Predatory Tow Truck Company that tows cars regularly. ✔️ Parking Gate Transponders that don’t work ✔️ If your interested in moving into a place with all of the above. Summer House is the place for you. My journey with Summer House starts with them fleecing me out of $200 every month because they didn’t respond to my inquiry for an apartment in a timely fashion. So we finally get our application approved only for there online system to be down, requiring us to pay to have a lease notarized and shipped overnight. Then today - our car was towed. I was going to consider it water under the bridge but when I went to replace the transponder that hasn’t ever worked since we’ve moved (May 17) , I was met with a pretty nasty attitude. My partner and I love this part of Alameda - that’s why we live here. Other than that avoid this apartment complex like the plague. Update: someone spilled oil or grease on a Saturday (it’s Monday) and I went to notify management and maintenance whose response was “ok”
