Tiffani was very helpful with my service request. Even though I had some issues with this company before moving in to my unit, everything goes 5-star so far. They are really professional and communicative.

I had a poor onboarding experience with Mynd Property Management. I would recommend property owners to look for local PM services as you may have better luck than going with a corporation that manages property remotely. The onboarding inspection was thorough but everything after that went south. Mynd wanted $4400 to repaint the interior because it didn't match Mynd's color palatte they determined was pleasing to tenants and $770 to clean (seems high). I wasn't seeking interior design advice. I just wanted regular PM services (place, maintain, collect rent). Mynd kept touting their high standards and it was unpleasant to feel like I had to seek their approval rather than a PM making my life easier. I opted to terminate the contract before they listed my property. Offboarding was also handled poorly. I provided an additional key, set of mailbox keys and 2 garage openers in a visible location in the kitchen according to Mynd's instruction for onboarding. I (wrongly) assumed these would have been accounted for when Mynd turned the property over back to me. When I asked my new PM to collect my mail, he said he never saw any mail keys. When I contacted Mynd about this, the PM said Mynd "always leaves keys/openers in the drawer to the right of the stovetop" and that Mynd would never have taken them off the property. Imagine having to go on a scavenger hunt on your own property. Of course my new PM did not find them in the drawer. Mynd claims no responsibility as now "anyone could have gone in and taken it". Mynd also charged an hour of maintenance labor to change 4 light bulbs and jiggle a plastic divider in my freezer. All in all, I got charged $350 for the displeasure of working with Mynd and would not recommend them to anyone. I also reached out to the email address Mynd hands out for issues and received no response.

I've been renting an apartment in downtown Sacramento from Mynd for about 7 months. The application process went very smoothly on my end- they were able to review my application within a day and took the apartment down from their website promptly (which I think we can all appreciate in a tight market full of application fee scams). The apartment was super clean and in great condition when I moved in. The staff have responded to service requests quickly and appropriately. Their website works well and makes it very easy to pay rent and submit requests. Thank you to Dulce, my move-in coordinator, and Shera and Karl who handled the service requests.

I am so exasperated with service the communication that I get from Mynd when I write a neighbor is speeding down our driveway daily at 9pm while the driveway is our walkway up to our front porch. Mynd replies for me to call police. Get that reply!
