Right at home is a tremendous place to have care provided for your loved ones. My family had this company for close to a year. They went far and above to make sure my mother was well cared for. The caregivers provided were very well versed in the care of elderly people. The owner Gulraj is very hands on and makes sure every client is 100% satisfied. I would highly recommend right at home for care for family members

My 88 year old mother recently spent a week with my sister who lives in Redwood City. My sister works 10 hour days so we hired Right at Home to help with things my mom can't do for herself because of her bad arthritis and bad shoulders during part of her workday. Gulraj Shahpuri was very pleasant to work with. We discussed our needs and concerns for my mom's visit and he was able to match a care giver to my mom's needs. The care giver helped monitor my mom's daily exercises, took her on walks and even drove my mom to visit friends. Hiring Right at Home gave us peace of mind during this visit. We will definitely use them again.

Shawna was terrific to work with -- very professional, responsive and compassionate. She really listened to our needs and provided qualified, gentle, compassionate caregivers for my dad on fairly short notice. She checked in throughout the process to ensure things were going smoothly and listened to our feedback. We highly recommend Shawna and her team.

Right at Home did a fantastic job taking care of my dad who was homebound following a stroke. Shawna and her team, especially Katherine, Edna, and Bo were amazing. We were so appreciative of all the care and empathy they showed my father. We don’t know what we would have done without their support! We wholeheartedly recommend the team.

Right at Home provides a range of in-home care options for seniors and adults with disabilities. Don’t think of our services as one-size-fits-all. We know everyone’s needs are different, so our care plans are uniquely tailored to each individual. Whether it’s helping with dressing and hygiene, providing medication reminders, or simply providing transportation to medical appointments, Right at Home’s dedicated caregivers will help you or your loved one navigate life.
The key difference between a caretaker and a caregiver is that a caregiver is someone who looks after a person who needs care and support, both physically and emotionally, whereas a caretaker typically refers to a person who is in charge of the maintenance of a building or estate, or someone who temporarily performs the duties of an office. A caregiver is a relatively newer term than caretaker, and is a person who provides direct care for children, the elderly, those who are disabled or chronically ill, or others who need assistance.
