I drive past this spot everyday. Usually busy but in the hood. I ran into their truck in Mesa and loved the tacos. Spoke with the owner and he let me know the burritos were good also. Tacos were good back in Mesa and burritos also did not disappoint. Worth the stop. This is our new taco spot. I saw some guy get tacos with ramen. He said it was good but he looked like he was suffering. That's next on the list for me!

We had a great experience today for lunch. It was our first time there and the place was jammed which is always a good sign. Food took a little while but no biggie, we weren’t in a hurry & it was slightly overpriced ($20 for two tacos and ramen 🤷🏽♀️). We each had one birria taco and split the birria ramen and the flavor was just WOW. We will definitely to go back and try other things. And ya’ just gotta dip those tacos in that ramen…I mean, just off the charts!

I’m going to give my open and honest review for this place. My partner and I had been wanting to try it since we moved to chandler in mid October. Finally stopped in today 02/17. I was craving some street style tacos (which I’d thought I’d get) first of all, I’m going to say, it’s pretty expensive for what it is. Each taco cost 3.99 and I wasn’t satisfied with the tacos at all. I tried the carne asada and one birria taco. The asada tacos came in a corn tortilla with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes on top, it also had with what looks and tastes like nacho cheese inside the taco (was not expecting that, and didn’t like it.) the tortillas were hard. The birria taco, also hard tortilla and the meat and the entire taco was dry. I was expecting it to be saucy. I wanted to add chicken to my daughters quesadilla, but they wanted to charge an extra 7$! (No way!) A can of coke cost $3.50 (which I ended up not buying after that price) I was almost just going to cancel my entire order after the total price, but I’ve had a long day, I am tired and didn’t feel like going elsewhere. I guess I was expecting AUTHENTIC Mexican tacos/food, and instead, I got Texmex food, which I am not a fan of. All in all, I give this place a 2 out of 10. Not what we expected in Mexican food, but we gave it a try, and this is my honest review.

UPDATE - went again last night to try their Keto asada tacos. They were delicious!!! But I could only eat one cause it was SO MUCH CHEESE! I would probably order one and regular tacos to go with it! (Which defeats the Keto part of it) or open it flat and distribute the meat more evenly. Not sure, but really so worth it! I have been seeing Taco Spot all over Instagram. Talked my family into going. My first visit I got the Tacos and Fries combo. It was delicious, but I’d rather have all the asada tacos instead. So the next time….I ordered 8 tacos for two people and it was perfect! The asada is seasoned just perfectly. The American cheese slice is melted just enough in the corn tortilla. I’m not usually a corn tortilla fan, but I will keep getting these, even if it’s not Tuesday! I hope you check this place out before they move to their new location of Country Club and Baseline! (Not sure when that will open, but can’t wait!)
