We are NOT getting our paper on a daily delivery. We are missing, on average, one paper a week. I call their circulation department number and get nowhere So is the problem with the presses? No driver to deliver? I haven't a clue and have never heard a response from my phone calls, or the letters I have written to them. My take? It is poorly run. Nothing like it was before it was sold.

For a “local” paper there is surprisingly little local news reported or written by journalists actually employed by the RG. Most stories are from US Today, or Portland, or Salem outlets (every story from today’s paper was written by one of those outlets). Would love to see local news truly be local once again.

Terrible newspaper, I've been a subscriber for years but the quality has dropped so much that now you're better off reading tabloids. Frequently information is outrightly wrong or written in a way that is misleading for catchy titles. Consider my subscription dropped

I went into the Register Guard Main Office to discuss our subscription account. We have had an account with Paper delivered to our home for 40 plus years. When I first walked in there is a large Customer Service desk with a very friendly Lady attending it. I was greeted with a cheerful "welcome" and " what can we do for you today ?" I explained why I was there so she directed me to the right area. Once there I asked to speak with the Manager of this Department which they got for me immediately. All in all this Mgr. handled my situation very well ( Ms. Disco ) and she was very professional and kind. I ended up subscribing for another full year to the Eugene Register Guard!
