Our bed lasted 20 years, including 9 with meaty, beaty, big and bouncy tenants. I always liked the bed as it would heal my back from road trips. We got a king bed 10 years ago from somewhere else to help mind our kid. Now I’m looking at the side slat broken where the bolt goes in and I’m realizing 2 things: 1. I can fix this with IKEA parts! Think back to 1950s American car construction- designed to be fixed by yourself! 2. The wood type and finish are definitely higher grade than IKEA. I’m in Alberta now, but with my very recent perspective I wish these folks well.

Bought an oxygen pillow here 15 years ago and they still had the specs on file when I went back for another one 2 weeks ago. Service is always great and you won't find a better pillow. Will probably get my next mattress from here as well. Nicely done little indie bedding store 😁

My partner and I have enjoyed a great European Sleep Works mattress and foundation for many years and didn't think twice about revisiting the Berkeley showroom for our new replacement. We appreciate that they are a small local, environmentally concerned company employing folks who create each mattress from scratch in their Richmond manufacturing site. At the showroom we were expertly advised by Katrina about models that would fit our needs and after laying on several alternatives chose one to be delivered. About 60 days after delivery we called Katrina to say that it did not satisfy us and supplied photos of the main objection. She offered to send a team for a 'tune up’ hoping to solve the issue. The problem persisted and we then agreed to revisit the showroom to select an alternative which we are now delighted with. Katrina handled the entire process very professionally and with her expert counsel now have the best product for our needs. We highly recommend European Sleep Works when looking for a great sleep knowing you will purchase from an excellent local company with outstanding employees who stand by their word. Gaby & Michael

Simply the best bedding store in the Bay Area! We bought our current very comfortable & green Cal King mattress here 3 years ago, along with a solid cherry wood dresser for Teresa. Stopped in over Thanksgiving to pick up a flat but supportive pillow for Tess, and they had exactly what she wanted, and helped her choose the correct firmness. The in-store assistance is always spectacular, and the products are excellent!
