Management has decided to remove dressing rooms so that customers can't try on one-of-a-kind clothing. Huh? I used to donate to Savers exclusively because their stores were so well-run. But this is the most idiotic decision of all time. Pandemic is no longer an excuse-- wake up Savers corporate!

Not sure what kind of operation the donation receiving team is running here, but I'd like to call attention to a less-than-ideal situation that just occurred today. I had a medium (48" x 30") office desk that I was getting rid of. Because it was a rather large piece of furniture, I made sure to call ahead to ensure they had space. The lady that picked up put me on hold to double-check with their donations team. After a brief hold, she let me know that--as long as the desk was in good condition--they'd accept it. I was able to get time off of work about an hour and a half after I hung up to coordinate with a friend that had a truck to bring this down to drop off. Upon arrival, one of the individuals in a green shirt immediately told me that they weren't accepting furniture because their warehouse was full. After letting him know that we'd *just* been told to bring it down and that there was enough space, the person from the donation center insisted they were full. We offered to help them organize it in with the rest of the donations to make it fit, and the gentleman in the green shirt said he'd talk to his manager. A shorter gentleman wearing a black shirt and a hat came out and didn't let me say a word before saying "We're already full up, you can't drop this off!" Thanks, bud--I gathered that from first employee I spoke with. As I started explaining the situation and telling him that the woman I spoke with on the phone said they had room, the gentleman in the black shirt cut me off and essentially said that we should've called the *donation center*, not Savers. I asked how I could've called them specifically when there's only 1 phone number on the website (which is the one I used), *and* the woman I spoke with beforehand said she checked with the donations team to make sure we were good to go. At this point he walked away shaking his head and muttering under his breath, so needless to say I wasn't able to drop it off. Thankfully, Goodwill was exponentially more willing to accept, but if this is what a "manager's" customer service looks like at a place where I LITERALLY give you free stuff you can sell for hundreds of dollars....? *YIKES*

Always end up buying something from here, their furniture options are unmatched. The new self checkout lanes are high quality. Love the fact that there's shopping point accumulation as well. No fitting rooms (maybe due to covid?) and the store is pretty clean every visit.

This is a great place to reduce your carbon footprint by donating or by buying pre-loved items. The store is laid out well. I was able to use a $2 coupon I got from donating and filling a survey and ended up with a French press for $3! It works great!

I have gone by the store periodically. The lights are on. People (employees) are in the store. One waved at me as I recently peered through the locked front door. The shelves are redesigned and completely stocked. They look like they are ready to open but NO WORD on any reopening date. I am baffled as to why the silence. They are likely to lose many customers through their lack of communication. Sorry to say...
I heard they might not open back up. 😭
Yes donation hours are the same as store hours.
If you are 17 or below, you'll need a work permit from your school. Otherwise, there shouldn't be any issues. Good luck!
