This has been an amazing experience for our son. He has trained since he was 3 years old and after leaving his gym in CA when we moved we found ourselves at another gym who only seemed to care about tournaments and didnt really even care to get to know the individusl kids. After begging to leave his last gym we found Allied and he can't wait to train now. He is excited about his training and even wants to do tournaments because he loves jiu jitsu and his instructors. The first thing i noticed about the gym was the aesthetics. Super clean mats (which is super important), very inviting places to sit and watch your kids train, feels like being in one of the huge academies like AOJ but with a more personable feel. Both Professors Thomas and Jeff are supportive, professional and knowledgeable. I love the fact that when I go to class I know I am going to train solely in Jiu Jitsu and get every penny that I am paying for in quality instruction. You have an ego free, no pressure environment where you can train at the pace that is good for you without feeling intimidated or overwhelmed. I can't speak highly enough about this place. If you want to train and live in the Northwest Valley...Allied is worth checking out.
