One of my favorite places to visit when I'm in town. It has great walking paths and love all the greeney and trees. This park is actually pretty big with playgrounds and covered picnic areas, I love seeing the peacocks.

Automotive swap meet here today. Nothing spectacular. Hot wheels, old car parts, tools, custom engraving booth, classic cars etc. Beautiful day. Bought a couple things for very cheap. Bought a pack of 10 mechanic's gloves and a 19" tall statue of liberty 🗽 for $15 total! Deal! Good atmosphere.

One of the best parks in Glendale to take a stroll in. Visit the great rose gardens on the east, historic side of the park when they are in season and in bloom for some fantastic colors and photo opportunities. Visit and follow the numerous peacocks and peahens around the group and orange groves. On the west side of the park you will find a number of areas for picnicking and out door activities.

We had a ton of fun here! There are pigeons, chickens and peacocks everywhere. The pigeons fly a little erratically, but are super fun to watch! Great place to walk around for an hour or two. Would make a great stop for kids as I am sure they would love all the animals. Very beautiful park! We would love to have something like this! We will be back :-)

From the satellite view it looks like there are 4 baseball diamonds toward the northwest side of the park. Looks like a four leaf clover.
I think I remember there being an announcement last year about a day to come pick all the fruit so that it could be given to local food banks and facilities for homeless. I've never seen a rule about picking or not picking though.
The photographer needs to have a permit and there are fees due
Photography permit required at Sahuaru Ranch Park (& Manistee Ranch Park) for all posed video and photography in the historic area, section enclosed by black wrought iron fence. More info at glendaleaz.com
Yes you can tour them, but there are very specific days and times. Unless it's changed, it is free to tour but it's nice to make a donation, especially since there has been recent arson
