Why does Safeway bother with digital coupons, games, etc which can be confusing or difficult for older customers. Just give Safeway enrolled members great bargains/discounts. That save lots on Public Relations, Marketing, etc and puts the savings where they belong, with the customers😘 Love your store.

You can't put food in the same bag as dryer sheets. I don't want Snuggle flavored Red Vines. Aside from that product is often tagged incorrectly, resulting in me having to stand in line to return it. I work retail and felt the manager would like to know about the issue but when I told him he didn't care. Then there was the big one, I was charged twice for a large grocery purchase and when I pointed it out the manager was extremely rude about it, like it was an inconvenience for him. They ended up trying to return it through a different register, assured me it would be returned within 10 days or so, it never happened. I had to call corporate and finally got ahold of someone who cared and she sent an email to the store and set it up so I could go in and get my money back. I go in and they claim they have no knowledge of the email, I don't know if they looked for it or not, I ended up having to call the girl at corporate, who then called the store and convinced/forced them to give me my money. Which they did plus a little extra attitude for my troubles. So head on in to Safeway if you like getting dirty looks and customer loathing service.

I mostly use the pharmacy. B4 I was unable to drive and could go in or use the curbside pickup, I think the pharmacists are awesome, especially John! When I picked up my medicine, I'd pick up some odds and end groceries I needed or something only Safeway carried. Safeway employees are very helpful and nice. I'd recommend Safeway, especially the pharmacy to all!

I mean as far as grocery stores go..it's okay. The produce selection is pretty good. Seafood selection varies between great and meh. (I mean we are land locked). They get so busy in the evening and they tend to push everyone to the self check out.
