We went in here thinking that it would be along the lines of a tourist trap and while in a way it was but it was still a wonderful way to spend a few hours on a crisp spring morning. A few of the signs hanging on the walls are obviously reproductions, but the artifacts themselves are real the buildings are old and the story of vulture city is fun to hear and explore. We took many pictures, drank lots of water and ate popsicles. Definitely worth the $15 entry fee.

Cool old mining town with restored buildings. It's supposedly haunted. We did did self guided tour and my older kids enjoyed reading all the haunted lore and the more ghost town features of the town. I enjoyed the history and even seeing the current mining operation happening just "next door" on the other side of the fence. Wasn't too far of out of the way on our trip from Phoenix to Vegas and helped to break up the trip. The scenery around the area is beautiful too! Nice that they are preserving history and it's not overly commercialized but the trade off of course is that it's a little overpriced on the entrance fee. For adults and kids it was about $60 for 1-2 hours of exploring. Adults may spend more time lingering and reading. Overall we enjoyed and I'd recommend. Nice clean bathrooms, which was nice, but bring your own drinks and snacks. There are picnic tables spread around property.

Old mining town. Some buildings. Supposedly haunted. I was there for Para Con 2021. Heard a seminar. Was very interesting. It was kind of a long ride out there, however if you want something to do for 2 hours then go take a look. Just didn't have more to do or look at for a much longer time. The scenery out was very nice and winding roads.
