Until the closing my experience at the Roland Park Bank of America financial center was great. Mr Sause helped me open a BOA Visa card and I get 3% back on purchases. I moved my mortgage for a reduced rate. I used the financial center for particular cash needs. Now, while M&T, Chase, and Wells Fargo, two blocks away, have been open for two months with Covid restrictions, Bank of America remains closed. The one open center nearby is in a risky area of the Baltimore City. I have had great customer service until now and it is my understanding BOA wants to close financial centers and switch to a tech savvy remote client. I do give five stars for past performance, however, the local community listserv notes BOA does not communicate any longer.

I had the worst experience here! Firstly they had only two tellers working with their customers for more than 15 minute. They definitely need to come up with a better process, like passing off customers to reps when they have long transactions. Tellers should be moving clients in and out, not having customers standing and waiting for over 15 minutes, ESPECIALLY when there were only a few people there. It should not have taken such a long time to process four people. I know bc I used to work in a bank! Some of us who don’t have an account and can’t use the atm are forced to go to the tellers! And then it comes to me and they tell me I can’t deposit my rent check into my landlord’s account because I don’t know their address when I have been doing the deposits for two months already and there has been no problems. I hate Bank of America as a company already, but their shoddy service takes the cake!

Very short staffed. No one speaks when you come in the door. I waited in line for 15 minuets just to cash a check. And since I’m not a Bank or America card holder, I had to wait for a teller. Other locations would have the virtual teller I could use. This location could use a renovation honestly.
