Beautiful trail system. The visitors center has friendly knowledgeable volunteers and the facilities are always clean. I will definitely visit again!

Great place to mountain bike, hike, and even horseback ride. I put about 200 miles a month on my bike out on these trails and it never gets old.. Lots of animals in the morning too

Love this place - The trailhead has ample parking and a clean restroom. I have mountain biked here a couple times - it's a pretty popular destination for that. However, I've run here many times. There are multiple marked (and unmarked) trails so you can run or hike as long and as far as you'd like. The trails are clear but "primitive' and with a couple exceptions, it's pretty easy terrain. Go and explore saguaros as far as the eye can see. You may even encounter a coyote or rattlesnake. You'll feel like you're the only human on earth. The peak gives you a beautiful 360Β° panoramic view of Pinnacle Peak, Scottsdale, and Cave Creek. It's wild, it's free, it's beautiful - just like you. Oh, dogs are OK to bring, too. You'll likely encounter some riders on horseback as well.

No, they stay open. But it could be muddy.
No, there are some rental places around though. No Arizona trail offers rentals unless you are sidewalk riding.

Trail is great. Not very hard, and very little to no tree cover. But the area is nice.
You can make the trek as long or as short as you prefer. Lots of options. They also have trail maps there for you as well.
No
Alex, do you know some names of local bike shops?
