This building has been a fixture in this neighborhood for, I believe, at least 50 years. It was called Carlos' Sweet Shop before for many years. Carlos was a very nice man. I'm glad it stayed a bakery. I hope it always does

I know it's the holidays and tamales get a little expensive. But these guys charged me $45 for 1 doz tamales and 7 pieces of bread. And they werent even good. Price gouging much?! I'm sorry Bowie Bakery, I'll never cheat on you again. No wonder it's called El Paso Bakery...corrupt like its politicians. NEVER AGAIN!

Delicious bread but $20 for a dozen of pan dulce? That's too much. I'll just go to Juárez next time for same quality, cheaper prices

I don't know about prices but I do know that they do have always fresh bread daily.
