This place is unorganized. The top management does not know what nurse management is doing. And nurses are sometimes clueless. This place lacks compassion and care as the nursing deptt would not pick up the phone. I had to call San Leandro police deptt to call the hospital as my father was in distress and no one was picking up the phone. I had a horrible time and even the PD couldn't get hold of the staff, but eventually they did and Hospital was served an advisory frm San Leandro PD. They had a faulty equipment for my dad as it was giving all kinds of alarms. You dont get any calls from doctors unless you request it and that too comes after a week. Some outside govt. agency need to do a surprise check on this hospital how are they taking care of their patients. If you have an option go somewhere else.

Do not under any circumstances send your loved ones here, they will be neglected and the nurses don't do anything. All this places is, is a money grab. I came here to visit my grandfather, they straight up DON'T take care of people here all the other reviews I've read on the neglect are true. He sat in his own waste for over an hour while I was visiting and each time a nurse came into the room to check his vitals I asked for them to clean him up and they wouldn't claiming someone else would later. This went on for an hour. 3 different people came and no one would get someone to clean his waste off of him. This went on until visiting hours ended and they asked me to leave but I refused until they cleaned him up and stayed for another 30mins after visiting hours to make sure that he was taken care of and they STILL wouldn't. The other issue us that he has a breathing tube in his throat and has stitches. He's been there for three days and they still have not changed or cleaned them. They are covered in dried up blood and sweat "because they need a doctors approval change and clean it." We are trying to get him out of here now because this is ridiculous.

You gave me my father back. Rehab was fine. All the physical therapists were good at their job especially veronica. My dad likes shonda tracy and Robert night shift

Well I wasn't doing so well health wise, so I was admitted into a hospital to get the help I needed, at first I didn't like my situation plus I could not stand the breathing mask, so I opted for a treache tube instead. I was awaiting transfer to kindred hospital for treatment and rehab, when I arrived everyone was kind & attentive to my needs, they did not fail to cheer me up everyday I was there. I couldn't speak for a while but my speech therapist, & with the help of my rt they helped me speak again. My physical & occupational therapist were a big help aswell. They helped me walk, take care of my self aswell. I'll cherish the time spent there, it felt like a home away from home, & yes guys I made the turkey again this year thank you kindred you got me out, & as always watch your step laurie.....
