Catherine & Paula! An amazing duo of working women helped to solve my passport issue. I submitted my forms May, USPS lost my passport June, I managed to speak with Paula (who has a great level of patience) and she forwarded my concern to Catherine who then solved my problem within two days. I applaud them both. I’m forever grateful for their help because I planned to propose on my trip. They saved me a lifetime travel experience thank you both!

Very helpful US 🇺🇸 government passport office. Centrally located and in a nice building in New Orleans. This is one of the few passport offices that has appointments. This office is well staffed and has many employees in the office. This was a very good experience. Efficient, professional and very well run.

I applied for my daughter’s passport back in April 2021… It’s almost been a whole year. I am a military family. I was able to get my daughter a separate passport that is issued to military members who are stationed in other countries. Due to the military getting us this special passport we were able to be stationed overseas. But this passport she got is only for travel in the country we are stationed. So we cannot travel outside this country until I receive the leisure passport which I applied for almost a year ago. My daughter is in certain clubs over here that travel a lot I can not let her go until I receive her passport. I understand I could reapply however her bio father lives in the states and it would require his permission. Unfortunately he is no longer responding to me for unknown reasons so I’m in dyer need of assistance.

Everyone was very polite and helpful, but the time slots don't match expectations. I was called to the window from a standing queue a half hour after my scheduled appointment time, handed over paperwork, then was directed to a seated queue that took another hour before being called up for signing & pay. An additional 2 hours were spent freely waiting to be called for when the passport would be ready. One hour and ten minutes after the time the passport was supposed to be picked up, it was finally done printing. All in all, it was almost a 6 hour process between entering the building and exiting with a passport in hand. I recommend bringing food and drink (put away in a bag) for the break between paperwork and printing the book, a phone charger or portable charging bank (only 2 spots with outlets near the exit though), and an activity to do quietly. You could try to snag food nearby during the break, but there weren't many easy and relatively quick options at a good price.

Yes
Maybe something it's missing mrs Doretha.
No. I applied in June and my trip was July 28th. Still haven't gotten my passport. Even sent for it to be expedited. All they can is it's Processing...
You have to make an appointment in-person to get help. (I highly doubt they have enough staff to provide customer support over the phone. Only way to find out is to call and see if a human picks up). The best thing to do for a last minute passport is to make an appointment a few days (up to 3 weeks) before your trip. As long as you have proof of international travel, they can have your passport ready the same day or within a few days depending on your departure timeframe. At this point, however, since there is no guarantee your mail order will arrive in time, it may be worth it to go down to the passport office tomorrow and order a new passport for same-day service (that is, assuming paying twice for your passport is less costly than cancelling or rescheduling your travel plans). Hope this helps. Sorry for your inconvenience! Good luck!
It's a pesimo servise maybe the office Open till February.
It is in a mall and there is parking to the riverside of canal place There's also parking inside canal place
$225 in my case. I think that's the same for everyone though
If it is a new passport it may take more than a day. A renewal took less than a full day at that office, but we had a valid confirmed appointment and we had all of the required forms filled out correctly, the photos and the correct payment ready. A new passport may take more time. There are very few appointments anywhere in the country at this time so make sure to have your forms ready and to arrive early.
It's up to the Sate you are in and it's very busy. I know that if make an appointment and don't have anything to hold you up, then you can get it the same day.
You don't have to travel that far for passports. You can apply for them at your local post office, which is at 7150 Tippin Avenue in Pensacola according to Google. But if you do make that trip to New Orleans for those passports, grab a bite at Mandinas, it'll fill your belly with grub and your heart with love
If you go to the post office on 701 Loyola Av.
Yes. Once you enter to the place you have plenty of seat. Now if you find a line before you get checked then you will have to stand on the hallway or sit on the floor. My appt was at 730 and I arrive at 645. I was able to get in around 715.
Yes of course the us passport is a federal issued I'D
Did not go to the passport center. May have walked by. So have no information on the place.
I would recomand giving them a call. Got mine in a hart beat
It depends they will ask when will travel?? Or date
ID,BIRTH CERTIFICATE,DS-11(APPLICATION),AND APPROPRIATE FEES ,2×2 PHOTO no eyewear on please
Depends on what the change was.Nornally when an applicant is using a name that differs from citizenship evidence and what the applicant is requesting on the application proof is needed to show how and why the name was acquired and to reflect that usage it's usually a court document or something to that effect. Yes it is burdensome, but law protects from identity theft
On the receipt they give you a track number.
Only one appears to which I have spoken a thousand times but not the one in the office we lost the flight last Sunday and I have for this Sunday and nothing of the passport we are desperate
60 but you need to have proof of immediate travel for same day service
$205 and they accept every form of payment excluding checks i believe
Yes you can,but you must have immediate travel in order to get the Passport the same day
No you shouldn't, though they really follow the appointment system in my opinion. They are going to look your name up in their appointment scheduler
It depends... in my case i had my flight itinerary, i received mines the same day.
Yes,but under certain circumstances the newly issuance of an I'd will be accepted if reasonable evidence can explain why
No to get a foreign product you will need to go back to Jamaica and apply with their office. This office is for United States Passport Services only
I had an appointment but did not need it I was the only one there. You must arrive before 3:30. I was changing my name so I needed extra documents. Bring a new passport photo with you.
Yes
No passport center
Birth certificate, ID
I dont think you need an appointment. But its recommend to get one. I had to go the the passport office because i needed my passwort within the next 48 hours. (I filled out my application out at the post office and my application was mailed out from there.) The passort office was able to pull my application and i was able to get my passport in 24hrs. I did have to wait for them to receive my info which took about 30 mins.
In the parking lines downstairs
