I visited NM’s Taos and Santa Fe trying tacos for most of my dinners. El Callejón has my favorite tacos from the spots visited. The barbacoa, al pastor and beef were top notch. The meat was more flavorful and the sauces were better too. All taking top toco spots on the personal chart. The cucumber margarita was a special drink served that night. Started making them at home - thanks for the idea! The family running El Callejón are greats hosts. Thanks for making us feel welcomed and making us laugh. I’ll be back and recommend highly. Oh yeah, desert was great!

We had a delicious dinner sitting at the bar, drinking a local IPA on tap. Good service from the bartender and the server. Nice authentic vibe and atmosphere - not bougie or pompous. We ordered the night’s special - chicken mole - Worth it for the satisfying mole sauce! (A BIG thanks to the server who ran after me with my forgotten handbag…)

This place was ok. It's not on the Margarita Trail so for those who are looking to complete the trail, don't bother coming here. I had a margarita which was just ok and started with the chips and salsa which were good. It was spicy as is the spicy guacamole add on. I had the chicken fajitas which were unremarkable. They were tasty, but were nothing too special. The tacos were good, especially the fish tacos which would be my recommendation for anyone coming here.

Excellent and homey. Nice vibe. Portions are not large. Tacos are small street size. Perfect if you don't want a huge meal. Tofu tacos are surprisingly good.

Hello Mary, We have an open seating policy so we do the best we can at the door! We do like advance notice for larger parties, however, as those take some finesse to fit into our small restaurant. Thanks for asking! Warmly, LiAnne Morales
