Have passed this business for the past 30 years but recently heard good things so we decided to try it...especially since Havana Joe started working in the kitchen. Has a great meal, beautifully plated, fast service. Anyone TRYING to do business in these days give Covid have to work extra hard and it shows. Chef made sure food was okay, waitperson/bartender quick to provide service and refills. Funky place typical of a Caribbean bar.Thank you!

Questionable business model with closure or limited hours on days that statistically show the greatest income potential for the establishments field. Menu is comparable to an ad in the local papers classified section with too many astericks associated with dinner items. Service staff attempts to perform outside of their abilities by not writing down orders which further compounds the kitchens inept ability to prepare food. This then leads to the product you see in the provided photos. Overall a sad experience which was only heightened by an owner who failed to take any responsibility for the situation while lashing out at customers opinions via social media. All in all if a certain cook is not in the kitchen your time, money, and health are better off continuing down the avenue.I appreciate your feedback. I enjoy the group that came in last night that did not say anything to the staff. On a day that we were hit with a snow/ice storm. That made us short staff. 20 people walked in at almost the same time. The table was made aware of what was going on. Very childish way handling the situation by trashing a business that stayed open while many others closed. (By the business owner of the local gun shop)should build each other up and communicate. A local business owner acted out on his personal page. So I did respond on mine. Tired of this kind of communication. We love our community and regulars and new people that just want to be happy. Instead of looking for issues. I’m sorry you had issues that were not brought to my attention. on the ticket it stated med rare. If it was not cooked to your liking why say it was OK, and not say a word while you are here? Other then as a keyboard warrior. You guys can keep bashing me. Give me zero stars. many people love the menu. Last menu featured many of our customers. But the people that matter are the ones that come in here and enjoy themselves every day. The newcomers that want a nice time not looking for issues And the people that come in to celebrate things., And the ones That communicate with us to fix issues going on. Not vindictiveness.
