Rick and Gail are the perfect hosts! Rick even helped me fix an issue on our RV when we pulled in. Grounds are kept in good order. We only stayed one night, but looking forward to a longer stay in the future!

We prefer State and National parks to RV Resorts. But Cool Pines is the best of both worlds. We are in a lovely shaded site looking out across a meadow that a good dozen mule deer just walked across. Yet we have full hookups and reasonable prices. This place is immaculately maintained and clean. The owners Rick and Gail greet you and make sure you get setup and are happy. They recently opened a new sections and all of the sites are fantastic. Love this place.

From the way they first talked to me on the phone to how they greeted me when I arrived after hours, I could tell this couple really take a lot of pride in their work and valued excellent customer service. They answer their phone when you call, and the one time they didn't they called me back within a minute or two. They asked if I would like to be guided to my site, and I think I am allowed room for them to think that I would. He grabbed a flashlight and walked over to show me exactly where the site was, help me back in, and showed me where the utilities were. All of that was completely unnecessary but he seemed happy to do it even though it was cold in mid-October. Apparently they just got the place about a year ago. The whole area looks very nicely managed and maintained. You are among pine trees in the camp area. It's not like there's just a wall of trees somewhere to one side of the campground. It's so nice and relaxing that we decided to stay an extra day just to enjoy the tranquility.

Great park with friendly hosts. The park has an activity room and plenty of power hookups. I was sleeping in a Tesla Model Y and plugged into the 50 amp I am getting ~30m/hr while in camp mode. Plenty to get back up to full overnight. The shower and bathroom is nice and there is a laundry room. On Saturday morning they had coffee, cinnamon buns, and fellowship.
