I’m a current renter at northgate. This place is a dump, I’ve had homeless people come up to me asking if I sell or have “ice” I don’t dare to bring my family here for any holidays or get togethers.

Why does everyone in this building litter and throw their cigarettes on the ground? Why do people smoke pot in the stairways? Why does maintenance smoke cigarettes walking through the hallways? Cigarette filters are not cotton! If you throw them on the ground they will not just disappear! I think Northgate residents and employees need a educational powerpoint on how to pick up after yourself and be courteous to your neighbors.

I think Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys moved in here recently, There is so many shopping carts scattered around the building and parking lot. Walmart, Hannaford, Market Basket, Petco, Hobby Lobby, Cvs come get your shopping carts. Oh and if anyone is looking for a good place for the #TrashTag challenge this place is basically a dump! This is not a place you want to live. The units are old, there hasn't been proper maintenance on them probably since the building opened. You will not have anything repaired correctly or in a timely manner. The Postman was attacked here at some point in the past so you will have to pick up most of your packages at the local post office sense they will not enter the building, Ups, Fedex, and Dhl all deliver to your door if you sign a release form. The police and emt are here regularly, i suspect a majority of it is due to overdoses. You can see a lot of drug deals go down right in the parking lot. The parking lot has a few pot holes that can swallow cars alive, and they are at the entrances of the building so if someone else is going the other way you're in trouble. The parking lot also serves as dumping grounds for everyone's trash you will see people throw the mcdonalds bags out of their car in the parking lot, some people are too lazy to walk to the dumpsters so they dump their trash in the laundry rooms, lobby, or just outside in the parking lot. You will have one guy going through your trash if you move here (No idea how he hasn't been evicted) Speaking of the laundry rooms you do not want to rent a unit beside one, the machines are leased from Yankee Equipment Systems and they are LOUD you can hear them running and shaking the building no matter where you are at inside or out. None of the exterior doors lock here so its common for homeless people to come inside and sleep in the laundry rooms or just hang out in the halls/lobby. I encourage residents to look up New Hampshire CHAPTER 48-A HOUSING STANDARDS Section 48-A:14 and report any deficiencies immediately.

I recently rented an apartment here and i regret it already. I saw all the cigarette butts littering the entry ways when i viewed the place and while super gross people are so lazy they cant properly dispose of their cigarettes I viewed it as a sign that people went outside to smoke. I was wrong, people smoke in the hallways, laundry rooms, stairways, basically all communal areas. There is also an old guy here who digs through the dumpsters multiple times every day of the week and brings in trash. Its unhygienic, illegal in NH, and a violation of my privacy. The low rent is not enough to make up for the invasion of privacy with the trash guy going through everyone's trash, cigarette smoke, litter, and dog feces. I hope management reads this and steps up to correct these deficiencies.

I'm sure you figured this out by now but there is no real maintenance guys here. So don't expect anything to be fixed right or in a timely manner.
They have done absolutely nothing and probably never will
Seriously?! And management is doing nothing? That's illegal!

I've had friends that live here that I've visited occasionally for a little over 20 years now, and I don't recall seeing it clean. Not even once. I think it's pretty obvious at this point that rent money is not for upkeep and visual appeal. There's an age old saying, Walt Disney even used it in the little mermaid...."If you want something done right, you need to do it yourself". Hint. Hint. Wink. Wink. If I were a resident I'd be gathering everyone for a community meeting. In said meeting, my top priority would be to pull everyone on board and get things done.... It's amazing what a group of unhappy people, all with a common goal, can accomplish!
No sir. If they did, it wouldn't look like a building on skid row:/
Well she can climb 3 sets of stairs without issues

It's filthy too, call Rochester Code Enforcement.
Because this place is run by incompetent people, Sandra the office manger is super rude and honestly you're better off looking for a difference place to live.
I know this is an old question but the building is being run by Admiral Property Management (603) 948-1148 so you will need to contact them for any leasing information.
write letters/emails to the new management company and let them know about Sandra. File a NH 540a petition against Sandra entering your unit without reasonable notice.
As long as Sandra is employed here this place will never be run competently or legally.
three years? I dont think that pool has been open since the early 2000s.
Probably bed bugs, but as far as I know the previous management does not like or trust Sandra.
As long as Sandra is at Northgate you will never get the truth. Write letters/emails to the new management company and demand for her to be fired.
Not 100% sure
