$4.00 for a gallon of water when the same gallon is $2.00 in more remote Ouray down the road. The AG should investigate this place for price gouging... This place is ridiculous.

The markups on all products are ridiculous but that’s free market capitalism. Their slogan should be “Low quality. High Prices.” Depending on which way you are coming from, I would stock up on non-perishable products and everything else that you may need in Montrose, Durango or Cortez before heading to Ridgway, Ouyray, Telluride or Silverton. I am all about supporting local economies and farmers but this is just pure price gauging as they sell Safeway/Kroger kind of products at inflated prices. It’s not like they are selling fresh local fruit and veggies, beef, eggs, dairy, water, etc. All of these small tourist towns are about slaughtering your wallet. At least the outdoors and mountains are still free… and some of the outdoor concerts too :-)

Very complete store for relatively compact space. Think City Market/Safeway on a diet. They really are the only decent market around for many miles. We did find quite of number of items which you not find in a C-store. Good produce and fruit selection. Meat section was smaller but adequate. We bought steaks and sides for an outdoor RV dinner. I can only give four stars because they were somewhat pricy. However, this is a smaller town away from the interstates and they have little competition here in Ridgeway. I will NOT be buying dinner at the Conoco/Family Doller, for example. We visited September 18th 2021.
