I order breakfast sandwiches here all the time but today was my last time. Ordered from here with a friend. When we arrived the lady was making burger patty’s. I arrived for our breakfast sandwiches and this lady puts down the raw hamburger walks over to the storage (without takeoff her gloves off) grabs our sandwiches and hands them to me like she wasn’t just touching raw hamburger.then when I said something to the cashier they acted like cross contamination doesn’t exist

County Yankee is like Cheers and I am Norm. I am in there almost daily (sometimes multiple times a day) just about everyone who works there knows me. If I am looking for something that they do not carry Mike & Chad are really good about looking into getting the items I want. The bakery/deli know me well and prepare food for me all the time, I have certain dietary conditions I follow, and when I order food if I forget something they know what I like and what I order and they fix it for me. The meat department is great, any time I have ever asked for a special cut of anything they take great care of me and they seem happy to do it. I rarely ever have an issue with products there, but if I do its always taken care of really quickly. Its one of the few stores I can frequent in town where everyone seems cheerful and says hello. Other places in town I have checked out before and not had one word spoken to me the whole transaction. I use County Yankee mostly for convenience because I live pretty close by, however if the service or products were not good I would go elsewhere, thankfully I don't have to do that. I get all my needs met at County Yankee.
